selling slightly out of the money covered calls on newmont works for me. who really knows how safe a dividend or a yield can be ? ain't no guarantees out there...meanwhile people line up to buy call options on gold stocks every month, not realizing what you and i already know, which is that gold sucks !!! (but it probably can't go down much from here)

Jerusalem's business-to-business firm VerticalNet (Nasdaq:VERT)(formerly Tradeum) has dismissed half of its work force, and intends on firing almost all of its remaining employees. The firings come as the company gets ready to release its quarterly results on April 27, 2001.
