Doctors save lives and take lives. Guns save lives and take lives. To be really meaningful you would need to line up all four numbers.

What does a doctor really do? A good doctor can set a broken leg, repair a heart valve or pull an infected tooth. He prolongs life and takes away pain.

I know of several instances where doctors have killed people, in one instance a lady had lymphoma that was pressing against her aorta and was causing the pulse to speed up. They dropped it with medication so much she needed a pacemaker. They forgot to insulate the lead wires of the pacemaker. A smarter doctor picked up the root problem and cured her with a traditional cancer remedy. 6 years later the uninsulated lead wire became infected and the person died on the table during an attempt to remove the pacemaker.

I know of another case where a 35 year old father of two has an infected pacemaker that can't be removed. He can barely get out of bed these days. The problem was a medtronic pacemaker with an uninsulated lead wire.

I know a young girl who was hit by a car and had a hair line fracture in her hip. The doctor at the emergency sent her home with pain killers. Two weeks later still in pain she went back to the hospital and they saw from the x-ray she had indeed busted her hip. It needed to be rebroke and a pin put in it. The rest of the story is she started getting streaks up and down her legs and died of blood poisoning shortly after.

Those are just three cases I know where people have died or are dying. If you ever have an opportunity to talk to a lawyer who specializes in medmal get their opinion.
