Chris, great point about trading being confidence, and certainly Challo has the apparent skills needed. Pulling the trigger is often the hardest part, especially after having a few tough trades go against you. Stops limit the losses, but getting stopped for losses can get to be frustrating to the psyche (believe me I know! gg) As far as the idea behind a poor FA outlook being wrong because of a rally in the Naz, and a 2 year long stalled Dow near it's highs I hope you are kidding. If you haven't noticed the disconnect between fundamentals and the markets over the last number of years I would be completely shocked as I gave you much more credit than that.
Irregardless, if Challo were to trade on TA alone, both long and short, would be doing just fine I'm quite sure.
