While I agree with your facts of the market predicting the future, I don't think the concensus is looking for a recovery anymore. The Fed speakers the last week or two are now backing off of the second half forecast of recovery, the IMF is now saying we won't turn around right away and the Bond market is showing us via the spreads that we will likely sling shot from recessionary pressures to inflationary ones.

The stock market ignored the Bond market when it predicted the recessionary pressures a year in advance before getting slammed by reality, I seriously doubt they will ignore them a second time so close together. BWDIK
