Put off bearish bets until after Fed cut.
After that if there are no bullish catalysts the bears may have some running room but for now shorting with 10 trading sessions until a certain fed cut , and after many bellweathers beat estimates, seems premature. Of course day-trading is another matter. That allows for volatility in both directions. But the bias is bullish now for the next few weeks anyway. After that we'll see. Energy prices could dampen the market over the summer. On the other hand the fed cut affect will start being felt. And if there is a recovery in earnings...
