<edit> Couldn't use coffee grounds because nobody in the house drank coffee. Besides, back then I played golf and putted into the can or chipped with wiffle balls. Double-duty.

Do you think this would work for the giant pacific northwest banana slug? If so, how do I do this? Our yard is a haven for slugs. Not too many snails. I think they are in the same family? Any suggestions are appreciated.. M
