Exodus parses their financial performance by data center. The older they become the more profitable they are. The originals are all making money.

If I remember right (from Exodus' pitch), locating a mission-critical server at an Exodus site saves over half compared to hosting in house, and is physically more secure. Operationally there is no comparison because resources (hence costs) are shared, and the staffing is no issue.

I was listen to Helen on Cnn the other day. She said they have been focusing on the enterprise sector early on since '98 now lately this is where most of there customer wins have been coming from.
