Update on my little virus thingy

My PC was fine, not infected. I sent a note on Friday to the person that had emailed me the virus, and as I thought, he had not sent me anything, the virus did.

He received my mail on Sunday, and at that time had no idea that his PC was infected. He had not performed a live update in several months. This was a little worrisome to him as for the past four years he has been writing an encyclopedia of Christopher Lee films, already under contract with a publisher. Fortunately, the virus had not infected the manuscript on his backup drive....and after a little over two hours he was able to successfully quarantine and remove the virus.

You were right, it was one bad mutha.
