"Lots of people loudly maintain they have found the truth. Very few of them look like that have, to me." I'll let you be concerned with "lots" of people, I don't concern myself with what "Lots of people" say so I can't comment. However, what would a person look like (to you) that has found truth? Is there a halo? Do you hear bells? I'm not challenging you, just curious.

"Since there is never absolute agreement on truth I suggest to you that thinking you have found it may actually be a step in the wrong direction." Since when did there need to be absolute agreement on truth? I never said I had "absolute" truth, I just mention it does exist, like it or not, independently of our existence.

Truth and reality exist independently to any observer. We all think in circles, but sometimes we are tied a little too tight to center to reason coherently, hence a nihilist outlook.

"Who knows? Does it matter? I can't say." I do know, and it matters to me, what you do is your business, but for someone who can't say you certainly have much to say and usually in a very boisterous manner.

Imagine you are a plaintiff in a jury trial, you present the court with your evidence and the defendant is found to be a fraud, the jury finds for you. The fraud appeals and a new trial with a new jury commences, you win again and the fraud appeals and it goes on forever and ever and ever... and why not, after-all, nothing can be known with certainty.

Being forever wounded and bruised is not a philosophy that I care to adopt, I'll leave that for you.
