I don't think so ... if the GDP report frenzy has any follow through it will be in non-tech, i.e. what I am short. Just have to wait and see ... I still think the consumer is in the process of hitting the wall and that this quarters retail sales will suck.

How can you go wrong shorting tech after that rally?
Sh*t, some of those semis and comm cos jumped close to 50%.

People aren't going to buy a turnaround in profits without a revenue growth (some even know that such profits came from the write downs before) ... Even, Meehan --gg-- said he expects profits (losses) to be much worse in the 2nd half. (Wish he'd quit recco'ing the safe (retail) stocks)

This was an oppty for some folks to sell into some short covering that's all.
