Hi Mark, FWIW...Jay from undergroundtrader.com posts a free weekly update...I usually find it an interesting read. It sounds like he started using a 3 period displaced MA similar to DiNapoli. Hi Mark, Most of the scans I've been running of late are for high volume, wide range intra day traders, but I'll dust off my old scans and see what I can produce. Time lines on many of the true cups I've seen lately show up best on a weekly chart, and many things are more like saucers than cups. Playing the breakout of a 2 t 3 week pattern is dicey in this market, IMHO. But I'll tweak those old scans this week to look for things more like your examples. In the meantime take a look at the following: PPD, PCLN, MNMD, IDXX, EXPE, NBTY, TMCS, VVTV. I'm not in any at the moment, but may be tomorrow. Peace and Justice --- Patrick
