Yah, I used to drive the Santa Ana Canyon Road when it was the "freeway". It's a short walk from my house.

Now there are more than 250,000 living in that corridor alone, aren't there?

Yup. If it weren't for the Cleveland National Forest we'd be solid houses from Orange County to Riverside. "Progress". ugh. I liked it better when this was the boonies.
