West - just forget about the broad market at this point and take a step back for awhie.

There are some individual stocks that will fall to oblivion. Check out GENI. I'm doing a lot of research into it and it is a wild story. A pump and dump operation with the largest shareholder being one of the largest - if not the largest - international arms dealer in the word. A boiler room company calling people and telling them to buy the stock. Its a complete scam that is being pumped up now and will eventually be a penny stock.

Haven't been keeping up with the posts here and need to play catch up. Have had a busy and wild weekend. Busy researching GENI during the day.

Russell is a little too gloomy for me, given the huge increases that the Fed is causing or permitting in the money supply.

But the sudden influx of signifying nitwits into this thread who want to attack you for mentioning Russell, among other things, is similar to what occurred when extreme panic hit the markets in 1998. That was before the big rates cuts; this time it's after the "surprise" cuts. It's a good sign for anyone who is on the short side of high P/E stocks or indices when this happens. The shriek of hysteria from those whom the market has already castrated.
