Richard:

I'm not sure of this, but I believe SliderOnTheBlack first used the term "Got Gold". He drops by the GPM thread occasionally but hangs out on the Strickly: Drilling and oil-field services thread most of the time.

His mantra has recently changed from "Got Gold" to:
Gold; How much have you got?

Eclectus

Got God?
Got Gold?

<<Actually, I think the "Got Gold" concept was Rarebird's. That idiot GATA, or gold wannabe cartel should take his idea and run with it. Why do you own your one oz of gold? Perception, pure and simple. A good "Got Gold" campaign would do more for the gold market than any SA gold research, market enhancement study teams, ABX hedging, and all the others of the XAU stupid mining ideas combined. A full-fledged TV, newspaper, radio advertised, bumper sticker "Got Gold" campaign could add 30% to the price of gold in a month. The metal is yellow, soft, and not good for more than holding. Perception in holding is everything IMO.>>

Agree with your point of view. There is no bigger enemy of gold than a low price. All forces who wants to get rid off gold forever knows that too, and using the gold carry trade, miners loyal to them, keep the price at the level where it serves only their political objective.
