Dear Tench:

If all they do is cut and paste two CPU cores and SMP NB onto the same die, it is relatively simple. Die size here is controlled by needed pin count and has a true minimum. There will be room to add some eDRAM for additional performance. If they do more, it will probably slip as marketing seems to count on breakthroughs on a regular basis. Its too bad really that a more realistic schedule is not allowed. IMO, surprises forward are more appreciated and would lead to higher customer satisfaction in the long run. That said, bug free is very important upon release as the fiascoes show.
