Canada's Placer Dome sees numerous acquisition opportunities
New York, April 26 (BridgeNews) - Canada's Placer Dome Inc. said Thursday
it plans to place a greater focus on taking advantage of what it sees as a
growing number of acquisition opportunities in the mining industry, president
and CEO Jay Taylor said. The company will be pursuing anything from exploration
and development plays to assets that are already in production, Taylor added.
