Not necessarily so, in fact, rather doubtful...AMD, according to management is shipping mobile ponies as we speak which will definitely help Q2 ASP's, even with recent round of price cuts...

I'd also suspect that the proportion of 1 gig and up microprocessors in AMD's overall mix is increasing very rapidly resulting in an additional positive ASP effect in Q2...Whether or not a higher average MHZ in the ASP mix in Q2 and beneficial effect from mobile ponies is enough to offset price cuts on overall margins is anybody's guess at this point!!!

Jim, The new Intel chip that is actually slower with a faster clock speed is an attem,pt by Intel to release early lest they be totally killed.
Many people now see the P-4 as a lame duck part and are avoiding it.
