Actually, since Kerry has a child now, he has essentially withdrawn himself from running for President. Of course, that could just be the spin he's putting out, but whatever..

This massacre thing is certainly not something he wants out there unless he can absolutely prove that the events were exactly as he stated.

But it will then STILL beg the question as to why he covered up the truth and accepted that bronze star under false pretenses.

Cjac,

I would consider Kerry's alledged incident of shooting civilians a non-issue. It wasn't the intent. His squad was under fire. How does one know that they (the civilians) weren't planted? The Soldiers from his squad (all but one) maintain that they were under fire. Remember it was a guerilla war and the Vietnamese often escaped in the nite.

Now, unlike other politicians, Kerry did serve in Vietnam. Bush didn't, Quayle didn't, Clinton didn't, Gore says he served on the "front line" <g>.

I doubt Kerry wants to run for president, but if he did, I think it would be dispicable of any politican to attack him on that.
