re, "To install this instrument do I need an outside program or is there a way to do it with the windows program?"

i think you need miracle software.

i see this excerpt...

"the Miracle, comes as a hardware/software bundle that includes a small MIDI-compatible keyboard, a cable to hook the keyboard to the joystick port on your sound card (Gamers, relax! The PDS has a built-in pass-through port for your joystick.), and the software on CD-ROM"...
unm.edu

unless someone on the thread knows precisely how to help you, i would recommend looking for the manufacturer's website for support, and/or popping some miracle words into a good search engine like google.

good luck

:)

Hi Dave,
The Miracle Piano that I'm familar with has a set of MIDI connectors (MIDI In & MIDI Out) and a DB25M to DB9F cable. I'm not sure if it is proprietary, nulled, or straight. The MIDI connectors and the serial cable cannot be connected at the same time or neither will work.

I have copies of the 3 disk install set dated October 91. I belive they only work with the serial cable and not the MIDI cable. The zip file with the disk1, disk2, and disk3 is a little over 1 1/2 Meg. I can email it to you if you like. Just copy the contents of each directory on its own disk and then install it. Unfortunately, I have no musical talent whatsoever, and I know less about music than most people know about computers, so I'm not much practical help :)

Good luck,
Steve
