while i have no personal experience with anything other than intel inside, there's no doubt in my mind that AMD makes good chips.

as for the system you posted, it looks sweet to me. only comment i might have is if you are a 'gamer', you'd probably want to pump up the vid card to 32mb.

any particular reason that you have decided not to go with another dell?

Norma,

Micron PC is being sold (not sure it matters). LCD monitors have just had a large price reduction. I have recently bought 2 and my study is a lot cooler. They are also suppose to be easier on the eyes.
