<<My 401k is all bonds. Not my first choice, but the options are limited in the company plan>>

For a short moment I forgot who is to dictate and who to listen. Someone doesn't like it - there are the doors. We have to sustain market growth even if it means burning books and start a new thousand year stock market era.
"Don't you ever fight the feds, boy" - this is how we will support FREE market. It is a dangerous path when the TV broadcaster announce "Bear is dead", come on people buy the stocks, the uncle FED will rescue you when something goes wrong. People instead of looking for innovations, will start screwing up knowing that the bigger hole they are in, the sooner hand-out from government is coming. Long process of self destruction, but with modern communication things might get out of control.

Regards, Marek

My 403B gives me access to all of Fidelity's funds, including the Selects. That's where my Gold investment is, Select Gold, which was combined with precious metals several years ago. I can exchange funds over the phone on a daily basis. I'm not sure this is a good thing but so far it has kept me in the black every year for the last 20 or so years.

goldworldnet,

If you have a Fidelity plan, you might want to send the manager of your 401K this link and be sure to point out that it is a free offer. I imagine FSAGX, the gold select, is included, but you might be able to ask for it specifically.

By passing on this information I'm not advocating investment in mutual funds, but if there is money tied up in a 401K plan I agree that it's best to have as many choices as possible, especially when it costs your employer nothing to make them available to you.

Good Luck!
