believe last I read, you folks had decided to wait until the news out of China becomes a little more concrete with an accompanying run up in the price. You fellas suggest waiting another week or so. Do I have it right?

You have it right. May not have to wait a week. Would seem prudent to wait for optimistic news to drive it up a bit...

Regarding QCOM. Yes, solid news about China contracts was hoped for over the weekend. Samsung announced contract win with amount last week, others withheld details but said that they too had been awarded contracts for build-out. Now waiting for the formal Unicom announcement. China news has had the power to move the stock in the past. With the lowered guidance from the recent conference call, and actual large revenues from China, and 1X system upgrades, another quarter away, many now feel limited upside in the short term, so covering stock positions looks like a good play.

I only have a small portion of qcom covered, because I like the prospects for good news in the very near term. Every time I read something like the following, I want to buy more <lol>:

TectonicMarker: My view is that Qcom will trade in a range this quarter, or until earnings are clearly revised up. Great for cc's. I too finally scrathed my itch.
