We haven't announced its opening yet, but it is fine to visit. ProfitOften.com is sponsored by Insighters.com. It is a free site, "dedicated to increasing awareness, education and promotion of the Individual Investor". It is a work in progress and we hope to accomplish some great things with regard to organizing the Individual Investors, lobbying, petitioning and other such activities. The Assessment there is quite useful to newbies and veterans alike, though it takes about 30 minutes for you to complete. The Discussion area has a few beginner boards open which use the Insighters.com messaging system. . . .so you get a chance to see how nicely the system works. . . .though it is of course better to see it when the site is fully populated. The glossary there is going to be WAY cool when finished, as it features acronyms used in online trading / chat rooms and buzz words, catch phrases and other financial jargon left out of more traditional glossaries. We haven't opened any chatrooms on ProfitOften, but did open an Orientation/Navigation board so that you may ask questions directly related to getting around and about the differences between the "bulletin board type" of messaging found on SI, RB, Yahoo, AOL, CNBC, Motely Fool, Clearstation and others. . . . and the "Conference type" of messaging found on Insighters. It will take a bit of effort to appreciate the beauty of the system. . . so best to reserve judgment until you've had plenty of time to use it. Most of it was designed by the same folks that built the messaging and online communications systems for Intel, HP, Cisco, IBM, Merrill and others. It is quite advanced, though many features are turned off on the ProfitOften site. As for the Insighters.com site, now that we have turned north in the markets, we are go for launch. 100+ pages of financial statements and business plans were submitted to the Banking Group and now we are waiting for them to decide on some final E-Commerce membership details. Once they give the green light we are immediately "go". I hope that helps. Rande Is
