Not for very many applications.

Server manufacturers want to see an array of products, allowing them to offer 1, 2, 4 and 8-way systems.

AMD is a DEAD END solution - DEAD because they haven't started and DEAD because they have no future roadmap of any significance.

Ask yourself this - why is Google buying only Intel-based servers?

Not if they have Via chipsets. When you have a farm of 5,000 servers, you don't want to hear about any "data corruption" problems.
