I was told by all sources that DDR DRAM cost no more than SDRAM to produce. Either I been lied to or SDRAM is still selling below cost. Get used to it 128 MB of RDRAM will be under $100 and 128 MB SDRAM costs $50-60 to make. Difference to build system with RDRAM vs SDRAM/DDR will be peanuts by Sep. I tried to listen to Intel analyst call. I had it playing for 4 hours waiting to get to Q/A where Otellini talks about RDRAAM benefit with P4 above 2 GHz, but I was called away from computer when Q/A started. I will try to step back from end of call to replay that section if possible.
