Now I know where all that personal debt you guys are always talking about is....739k in debt...yikes!

OTOH I have helped a friend who is a doctor evaluate pay packages when he finished his residency and a lot of the packages included some kind of debt payment plans, in other words, you work for in our practice as a partner for five years and we'll pay off a portion of your debt. It was a nightmare trying to evaluate these packages because you had to figure out pre-tax and after tax income and benefits on all of them and make various assumptions going out five years or more.

no question about that i believe. medical care costs are exploding all over the world, and that's not necessarily all due to the improving quality of same.
