Anybody have any previous experience with companies that trade a $0.05, have 30,000,000 shares outstanding and only trade 20,000 shares per week. Seems that a stock with that many shares out should be trading a lot more than 20,000 per week.

I suppose there are lots of examples. Any thoughts on why this happens. Is the public holding the bag or is it likely that the stock has been cleaned up and developed a new shareholder base that is patiently waiting for the show to start.

I have been in illiquid stocks before, but usually, the float is really small and insider group holds majority of the paper.
