Lew, I read it and liked it very much, but it seems like a hundred years ago. I may go back again. I read history like there's no tomorrow. <g> My favorite in the civil war area recently was "From Winchester to Cedar Creek." But my most favored era is the Middle Ages. I have always had a thing for dressing myself in shiny armor, hopping on a horse, rescuing a damsel or fighting some sort of infidel (you kill a few peasants if there aren't any infidels handy <g>) and then carrying the damsel home with me and trying to get out of my armor. The Byzantine Empire and The Crusades are particular specialties.
