When you can't directly see what you are making a model of, the model is only as good as your assumptions. MSK assumed that the mass of sulfides causing the geophysical anomaly would contain copper, nickel and PGEs in economic quantities. In Keel 1 it didn't. I think the same assumptions are riding on Keel 2. Let's see if Keel 2 has the goods. If you don't succeed at first, try again <g>... Still a long shot. They have yet to prove that their assumptions are right.

The model is correct. It is a layered intrusive of magmatic origin that does not contain economic minerals. It's that simple. There's lots of the them on the globe, lots.
