The time to buy quality companies is when the blood is running in the streets, definitely the case with Corvis now. Small investors like us have an advantage in that we can buy and hold until a promising stock is "recognized" or "in favor" by the street. Institutional investors have to make money in the short term and avoid stocks that are out of favor.
