Wouldn't worry about the kids. They see through a lot more hypocrisy than the older folks. The hysterical left has taken over academia since the early 70's, but it's the worst and dullest, not the best and brightest, who hide out in the grad schools when an intellectual class has become as corrupted as ours has in the post WWII period.

The coming intellectual renaissance will begin in academia, and be little noticed until it's too late to stop.

It's the effects it has as it expands into the media, government, and the private sector that are hard to predict. I have no doubt the initial effects will be positive and absolutely necessary. But to believe just defeating obsolete Marxism is a final result would be making the error of assuming the possibility of a perfect world.

We will just have to hold our breath and watch...

You were taught to do your own thinking. That's inconsistent with the leftwing strategy. They want to do that for you.

I went to college in the 60s, when the leftwing was just beginning to get a toehold. There were only a few leftists on campus then. Most people ignored them simply on the basis of their slovenly appearance.
