dale, what about 300 mm conversion? I suspect AMD won't convert Fab 25 or 30, but will only use it at Fab 35. How much would Fab 35 cost?

Another problem with 12" is, where are you going to get wafers from? I understand Intel has usually made their own, but didn't think AMD had any such capability.

Why no low-k dielectrics for the Al process?

Anyway, I assume from your post that you consider it highly unlikely that Fab25 will be converted to Cu - or maybe I'm reading too much of my own opinion into your post ;-)
