I don't think you have a clear understanding. There is a very strong sentiment in Nfld that more has been donated via resources (Churchill Falls, Hibernia, the fishery etc.)to Canada then has ever been doled out in transfer payments. I don't think anyone would like to see another given away considering "it should only take about 2000 years or so before they become net contributors to Canadian tax base." And is that the real reason for the delay? PS. Anyone who wants insight into "Supervalue" scroll back through a few years of Cartaway posts.
