Notes from DGEN CCall: If anyone thinks this is on the wrong board, (besides LEXG employees), please let me know. The DGEN board is dead. Some of this may be repeat information from past calls. - 187 potential drug targets in Deltabase. Expect this number to be at 250 in June. - Expecting 3 new Deltabase collaborations by the end of the year. - Expecting a collaboration with the secreted protein program sometime this year. - Markham (sp?) hearing's in both the isogenic DNA & pos / negative selection disputes with LEXG are set for "sometime" this fall. Matthews was clear in stating that they were looking forward and excited about the timing of these hearings. DGEN has stated all along that they are not using LEXG's technology. - Question about the timing of patents - When can we expect them? (This has been my major contention with DGEN BTW) Should be sometime in the next year for BOTH gene target patents and technology patents to be issued. Based on what sounded like a 2-year time frame in regards to review from patent office. - CD123 Program - Keeping partnering options open. Looking at doing a Humanized mAb against the target. (PDLI patent licensing anyone?) - Color of the call was upbeat and Matthews spoke a little about Pharma's positive take on the quality of the information that DGEN was providing for small molecule drug targets. I'm impressed with mgmt's results thus far. The company seems to be making real progress and has set some big goals. The market agreed (for today anyway). Maybe LEXG will provide some more info in their upcoming CC. Disclosure: I own both LEXG and DGEN. If I missed anything or heard incorrectly from the info posted, please let me know. JF
