but ya notice....ya cant make a dime on da chort side any more.....doze gaps left open below da market has got everybody trained to accept the fact that those gaps will be filled.

What I'm seeing a lot of on my money flow analysis is that we're getting waves of selling that only bring the price down so far and then further selling doesn't bring any further price concession, as soon as the shorts try to cover, a little bit of buying sends the tick up, so they have to pay up to get out. There's a lot more upside risk then downside risk, but the traders have been trained to the downside and they're getting creamed here. The opposite was true previous to March 30.

You can see it very clearly in my charts in IWOV:

members.home.net

then click on IWOV on the menu at the top frame.

The blocks (green) and money flow (blue)are net out, but the tick is up (pink), the turquoise is positive which means the stock is absorbing selling with no price concession and the tell tale is red which shows that even though you have an over all selling regime, there is upside risk because red measures how far the tick moves up away from zero plus in a selling regime. If it was in a buying regime it would measure downside risk by moving in the opposite direction. It's usually the first tip off that a stock or index has topped or bottomed out.
