The Sun StorEdge T3 array for the enterprise is a storage system that is a highly scalable, available solution designed to provide optimal storage performance.
Digex, the first service provider to achieve SunTone(SM) Certification for its managed web and application hosting service, is now offering the highly available Sun StorEdge T3 array to meet the rapidly changing storage needs of its clients. The Sun StorEdge T3 array is an extremely flexible, yet simple, storage array that can be configured for either high-bandwidth or high-latency mission-critical applications. The array features three-way linear scalability giving customers the benefit of predictable, incremental availability and performance as capacity is increased up to a massive scale on a single server. High availability is provided via redundant controllers with mirrored cache, automatic data path fail-over, and hot-swap/redundant power and cooling with two data paths per every nine drives.
