Gordon, I was a very good teacher, but I am exceptionally strong-willed. Most teachers simply can't handle the little pieces of unruly garbage walking into their classroom. Give them a class full of Chinese or Japanese kids, and the same teacher will do fine. As a general rule, American parents do not prepare their kids for school. In California we had our kids in a private school that was about 90% Asian. No discipline problems whatsoever. In Colorado they attend a private school full of American kids. Every day they come home with a new cuss word, or bad habit, and their learning has slowed down enormously. Scumbria
