I see that www.firstwave.net is down again today. Perhaps they scaled back their server, and it's now running on a pre-pentium system? Maybe with 8 meg? Or less? Anything to reduce operating expenses, I guess. Maybe their prior server was sold in an auction to the highest bidder. Hmmmm ... I wonder if that highest bidder might have been RTB ? From what I read on the Yahoo board, they're laying off personnel. Having trouble meeting payroll? So, nobody but RTB could afford to bid on the auction items. Could probably pick up a spiffy keen used server for about $25.99. Note: None of this is based on known facts. Just rumors, and my frustration. TED
