Zinc-air batteries are primary batteries (non-rechargeable in the traditional sense). When the battery is discharged, you have to exchange the whole active-materials and electrolyte cartridge--not the same animal as Li-ion by any means. Same chemistry as in hearing-aid batteries, just 'a bit' bigger and with replaceable guts. M_e
