it is in the nature of bear market rallies to look very convincing...they often go surprisingly far. but it is not in their nature to bail out the hoping holders... we have to consider though that it's not a 'normal' market anymore...the Fed openly supports the stock market now, a process that i expect will come to its logical conclusion, beginning with the open waving of the Greenspan put in the last rate cut statement to overt support operations maybe a year from now....
