The last 2 major cyclical gold markets occurred in 1986-87 and 1993. Note that the overall stock market also did quite well in those years. Those who think a sustained gold bull can only occur in the context of a weak stock market had better think again.

weakness in both the financial and the xau today...are they now going to march to the same drummer...that is downward??...so far today, the previous highs for the intraday and weekly close are holding as resistence to the xau...will see what happens now.
