Zeev,

I am planting brussel sprouts, and not turnips, but I could not agree more!

Zeev,

I live in San Diego and eat out alot. I got to tell you
restaurants that used to have lines to get in now have
empty tables at lunch and dinner. I've also noticed traffic is alot lighter on the streets. We are supposed to only have 2.2% unemployment- so what will happen when layoffs start here?

I just listened to some conference calls and fast food and restaurant sales are way off. Suppliers to restaurants and grocery chains are passing 5 to 10% cost increases because of energy and sticking to them.

We do have a tight supply of construction workers. I am having a bathroom redone and there is a 1 month waiting list.

I also see a lot of vacancies in office buildings again. Reminds me of 1992.

I think we are already in a major slow down with consumers.
Furniture stores and auto dealers tell me that sales have slowed down big time.
