OK...I understand that but don't you have to have some electrical engineering knowledge too? Are you a Chemist or electrical engineer, BTW?

Fabrication is a chemical/Physics thing. Most process engineers I know are Chemists or Physicists etc.

I am technically a Electronic Engineer but I don't use much of that anymore. My field is Test and that is much more logical than anything else at this point. For the most part, test is the search for manufacturing induced defects and that requires very little physics or chemistry at this point. A defect causes the device to produce a "0" when it should produce a "1" or visa versa. You don't need chemistry or physics to tell the difference.
