I'm not aware of any other story in the marketplace that is as exciting as the AMD story (the Y2000 annual report delineates the story and is well worth reading...2 or 3 times) that has evolved over the past 2 years...Truly an example of how the phoenix rises from the ashes...Even more remarkable is that, for the most part, the eye of the professional journalist/analyst/Wall street investor appears to have missed the most exciting company evolution in decades...although they do seem to be twigging now to the notion that something exciting is happening at AMD...Better late than never, I suppose!!!
