Joe, Re: I posted earlier that I ordered the Swiftech heatsink, and I have to say that the heatsink is a very bad idea in combination with A7M266 motherboard.

Swiftech is aware of these problems and designed a new heatsink which is compatible with the A7M266 (and many more boards). Take a look at this article (it's in German):

They tested it with several boards but only a few worked with the old revision. There are also some picture what blocked the heatsink and how the new version helps.

BTW, I hope to receive my Swiftech late this or early next week (money transfers to the Netherlands take, apparently, forever...). I'll post my experiences as soon as I have it tried out.
