Take a look at IONA!

IONA was mentioned recently on Briefing.com with respect to BEAS. They are basically in the same business though IONA is a much smaller competitor.

IONA just announced earnings of .15 per share which was .02 better than expected. Analysts predict 1.10 for FY2001, and 1.50 for FY2002. They have a current PE at a reasonable 75.

IONA is still small with a market cap of just under $1B compared to BEAS's of $15B. IONA is expected to grow at roughly 40% over the next 5 years.

I think this field, although owned by BEAS, is big enough for a lot of players. After doing my own due diligence, I think IONA is a credible player and this is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor.

I would be interested to hear what others think.
