didn't you know that the only way to fight inflation is to buy worthless assets like tech stock certificates? they are the only thing that could possibly appreciate faster than your dollar spending power depreciates. Shares of CSCO are the new gold standard. There are enough for everyone in the world to have some. They are obviously nobody's obligation since nobody expects any dividends from them, ever, nor any accountability or accounting standards. They are useless for any other purpose, much like gold, except wiping your ass, decorating your wall, and telling your friends you own some. Every share of CSCO ever minted still exists in some form, and in fact multiplies almost at will. What the f*ck are you waiting for, got get some? -g-

The name of the game is pyramid scam, and the only way it keeps working is to suck in more participants. Those who do not join, and those who encourage others not to join, threaten the longevity of the scam, and thus the ability of the middle-to-late comers from exiting the game in a profitable manner. At this point, I figure that a lot of folks didn't get wiped out in the last downturn and have re-entered the game, but they will be more desperate this time, trying to get even. But chances are that if they get even, it will be "different" than last time and they will stay in until they finally do get ruined.
