<<Vouchers will be the means for the rich to get richer and the poor poorer.>>

I expected better from you. That argument is the last bastion of a liberal scoundrel whether it's misused on education or anything else.

You don't HAVE to worry about funding for performance if you let the free market take care of that for you. Parents are wise consumers...

"Vouchers will be the means for the rich to get richer and the poor poorer."

How could it be any worse than it is now. Let's try vouchers and see if they help. If they don't we try something else. The bottom line is that the status quo is unacceptable and the teachers don't have the answer. If they did we wouldn't have the problem.

Keep reinventing until we find what works.

Third, three have told you that >>>>Vouchers will be the means for the rich to get richer and the poor poorer

is, well dumb. It's dumb because I don't see how anyone get's rich in teaching. As to the poor getting poorer, don't see that either. The un educated are likely to be poor and remain poor. But poorer????

It is clear that many private schools do well for a lot less money. Voucher's gives all an opportunity to chose an opportunity and not be trapped by corrupt school/government bureaucracy. Vouchers will provide more money to the most efficient in education.

Also I don't see Vouchers as tying funding to test performance. Is getting a job in planning for future energy requirements in CA based on attendance and not performance????
