I will remind you that I never said she was a hero, and once before have specifically said that I didn't ever say she was a hero.

But at the same time, I think she did a tremendous amount of good work, and made great personal sacrifices for the love of humanity. That her form of love for humanity doesn't match the views of some here is not, IMO, a reason for the kind of assault that some (not you) have mounted here.

When I come across any perfect person (other, of course, than myself) I'll be sure to let all here know. Barring that, I'm not much into destroying the reputation of someone who's dead and can't defend herself because in the course of a life of extraordinary sacrifice and service she espoused principles some people here disagree with.

And I would note that I have asked several time for factual proof of the charges made here, and so far have received none.

I'm not really sure why I've been cast in the role of her defender, since I am not Catholic and don't share many of her beliefs. Maybe it's my lawyer defence mindset coming out; or maybe it's just my natural commitment to fair play.
