hi e,

okay, i'm with ya.

this will send you to the right spot....

in control panel, select 'network'. you should get a page that looks very similar to this: chasms2.com

you should have two lines with ethernet adapter components. the second one will be for TCP/IP properties. click it. you should see a dialog that resembles this:

those seven tabs are the settings that you want.

E, you can also paste the PrtScrn image into wordpad, which comes with Windows.

But in 'paint' you can select the file type to save it in. I just tried that and saving as bmp made a file 2250kB large whereas the same screen shot saved as jpg was only 140kB. Makes a difference if you e-mail it.
